Prof. Dr. Katya Kamenova-Stoyanova and Eric Dimitrov won first prizes in the sections of &#8220;Chemical Sciences&#8221; and &#8220;Chemical Technologies,&#8221; respectively, at the XVIII Scientific Poster Session for Young Scientists, Students, and Ph.D. Students organized by the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy &#8211; Sofia.<\/strong><\/h4><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"264\" height=\"421\" class=\"wp-image-4062\" src=\"https:\/\/polymer.bas.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/\u041a\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0438\u043d\u04309.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/polymer.bas.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/\u041a\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0438\u043d\u04309.png 264w, https:\/\/polymer.bas.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/\u041a\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0438\u043d\u04309-188x300.png 188w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 264px) 100vw, 264px\" \/><\/figure><h4><strong>Ph.D. student Nasco Nachev and Eric Dimitrov were awarded for the best poster at the 12th Scientific Session &#8220;Young Scientists in the World of Polymers.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h4><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4><strong>Eric Dimitrov was awarded the second prize for the best presentation at the Third Youth Scientific Session on Biomedicine and Quality of Life.<\/strong><\/h4><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4><strong>At a ceremonial event on May 24th &#8211; the Day of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Bulgarian Alphabet, Enlightenment, and Culture, and Slavic Literature, the President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Acad. Julian Revalski, awarded a diploma and an honorary plaque &#8220;Marin Drinov&#8221; to the Institute of Polymers.
