Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neli Koseva received the prestigious “Pythagoras” Grand Prize for successful leadership of international projects in 2015.

 

Dr. Antonia Toncheva won the national award “Prof. Ivan Shopov” from the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria for “Outstanding Young Scientist in the field of Polymers” for the year 2015.

 

PhD student Gyuljan Yakub received the Aldrich Materials Science Award for the best poster presented at the scientific conference Challenges in Science and Technology of Polymer Materials, held in Bansko, Bulgaria.

 

Professor Kolyo Troev was awarded the “Marin Drinov” Prize by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for his contribution to the field of phosphorus-containing monomers and polymers.

 

Three teams from the Institute of Polymers at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neli Koseva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hristo Penchev, and Prof. Dr. Petar Petrov, were awarded the Special Prize “SIB-ITI-2015” by the Union of Inventors in Bulgaria for their innovative developments.

 

Doctoral student Dimitrina Babikova was awarded for the best poster at the 6th Poster Session “Young Researchers in the World of Polymers.”

 

Assistant Professor Dr. Emi Haladzhova received an award for the best poster presentation at the “17th International Workshop on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” – NANO 2015.
