The turnaround time for conducting the requested analyses depends on the current workload of the equipment and is agreed upon between the responsible personnel for external analyses at the Institute of Polymers and the requester. After mutual agreement, the turnaround time for completing the requested analyses is not more than 20 working days.

The Institute of Polymers reserves the right to change the prices of the specified analytical and expert services, depending on the quantity of samples or the complexity of the analysis, and this will be agreed upon with the requester in advance.

If the requester desires an interpretation of the obtained analyses, the service will be charged additionally.

The Institute specializes in:

  • Synthesis of polymers – polymerization and polycondensation reactions, controlled synthesis of polymers with specified composition, structure, and properties; hybrid and functionalized polymers, modification and crosslinking of natural and synthetic polymers; immobilization of bioactive compounds.
  • Preparation of polymer materials – networks and gels, nanostructured and nanosized materials – particles, layers, and fibers; materials responsive to stimuli, polymer complexes, hybrid and composite materials.
  • Characterization – composition and structure/morphology of polymers and polymer composites, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, inertial radius, viscosity, and rheological properties, thermal parameters.
  • Physicochemical characterization of micro- and nanosized materials, size and shape of nanoparticles, micelles, aggregates, and liposomes in their colloidal solutions (concentration, pH, ionic strength, temperature).

SERVICES:

  • Identification, characterization, and technological control of polymers, materials, and composites based on polymers (qualitative and quantitative analysis, thermo-mechanical properties, oxygen index, molecular mass characteristics, nanoparticle size, viscosity, rheological parameters, etc.).
  • Clients receive comprehensive information on the interpretation of analytical data, as well as specific conditions and methods for further use of these materials.
  • Consulting services for materials and their application.
