Corr. Member Dr. Iliya Rashkov received the prestigious “Pythagoras” Grand Prize for his overall contribution to the development of science.
Dr. Zornitsa Todorova won the national award “Prof. Ivan Shopov” of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria for “Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Polymers” for the year 2018.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Spasova was awarded in the international competition for young chemists announced by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and the International Younger Chemists Network (IYCN) on the occasion of the International Year of the Periodic Table and the 100th anniversary of IUPAC.
Dr. Nicoleta Stoyanova and PhD student Katya Kamenova-Stoyanova received awards for the best presentation at the 9th Scientific Session “Young Scientists in the World of Polymers.” Assistant Silvia Bozhilova and Yavor Danov were awarded for the best poster at the same event.
