Engineer Yavor Danov is the recipient of the national award “Prof. Ivan Shopov” by the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria for “Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Polymers” for the year 2022.

 

Associate Professor Dr. Nicoleta Stoyanova received the award “Professor Marin Drinov” from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) for young scientists under the age of 35 for achievements in the scientific field of “Nanoscience, New Materials, and Technologies.”

 

Engineer Yavor Danov was awarded the “Ivan Evstratiev Geshov” prize by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) for the youngest scientists under the age of 30 in the scientific field of “Nanoscience, New Materials, and Technologies.”

 

Engineer Yavor Danov won first place in the national competition for the best diploma thesis for the “AQUACHIM” award.

Selin Kyuchuk and Eric Dimitrov received awards for the best presentation at the 13th Scientific Session “Young Scientists in the World of Polymers.”

Eric Dimitrov was awarded for the best poster at the Silesian Meetings on Polymer Materials Polymat 2022 conference in Zabrze, Poland.

Eric Dimitrov was awarded for the best poster presentation at the 20th National Symposium “POLYMERS-2022” with international participation, held in Velingrad, Bulgaria.

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Spasova and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nikoleta Stoyanova were awarded for the best oral presentation and the best poster, respectively, at the 20th National Conference with International Participation “Natural Sciences 2022,” held at Shumen University “Bishop Konstantin Preslavski.”

 

Stiliyana Stoyanova and Enis Erdzhan Hasan received first prizes in the sections of “Chemical Sciences” and “Chemical Technologies,” respectively, at the XIX Scientific Poster Session for Young Scientists, Students, and Doctoral Students, organized by the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy – Sofia.

 

Vasilena Kortenova was awarded the “Student of the Year” prize at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in the category of Natural Sciences.
