Prof. D.Sc. Petar Petrov was honored with the national award “Pythagoras” for an established scientist in the field of natural and engineering sciences for the year 2019.
Doctoral student Katya Kamenova-Stoyanova received the “Ivan Evtimov Geshev” award from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) for the youngest scientist under the age of 30 for achievements in the scientific field of Nanoscience, New Materials, and Technologies.
Doctoral student Katya Kamenova-Stoyanova won the national award “Prof. Ivan Shopov” of the Union of Chemists in Bulgaria for “Outstanding Young Scientist in the Field of Polymers” for the year 2019.
Dr. Nicoleta Stoyanova, doctoral student Katya Kamenova-Stoyanova, and doctoral student Emilia Veleva-Kostadinova were awarded prizes in the doctoral competition “Best Publication” in connection with the 150th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).
Maria-Desislava Atanasova and Yavor Danova received awards for the best poster presentation at the XIX National Symposium “POLYMERS 2019” with international participation, held in Pomorie, Bulgaria.
Oyundari Tumurbat and Yavor Danov received awards for the best report, and Maria-Desislava Atanasova received an award for the best poster at the 10th anniversary scientific session “Young Scientists in the World of Polymers.”
Maria-Desislava Atanasova was awarded the “Student of the Year 2019” award in the category of “Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics.”
